DESCRIPTION:Mary Abbott & Taya Levine volunteers with End of Life Choices California (EOLCCA)\, will discuss the importance of sharing values and end-of-life wishes with loved ones; legal end-of-life options; and\, the resources and support provided by EOLCCA. Legal end-of-life options in California include stopping unwanted medical treatments; palliative care; hospice care; voluntarily stopping eating and drinking (VSED); and California’s End of Life Option Act (also known as medical aid in dying). \nThis event is free and open to the public. \nThe seminar will be held in 2-Senior Recreation Center – WSRC – Big Room at 9231 FOXWOOD DR.\, Windsor\, CA.

DESCRIPTION:Rita Mason\, volunteer with End of Life Choices California (EOLCCA)\, will provide an overview of how EOLCCA provides Californians with information and support to successfully navigate their legal end-of-life options. They will cover these options\, focusing on California’s End of Life Option Act\, also known as medical aid in dying (MAID)\, and voluntarily stopping eating and drinking (VSED). Discussion will include the importance of advance care planning\, including the Advance Health Care Directive\, Dementia Directive\, and VSED Directive. \nThis event is hosted by Full Circle of Living and Dying and will take place at Stoble Workplace. This is an invitation-only event.
