June Collins

Board Member

June Collins comes to EOLCCA with a strong background and relevant experience in serving on a board.  She served as a Board Member (1997 -2017) and the Executive Vice President of Dudek, a $50 million, 350+ employee, California state-wide environmental and engineering firm with corporate headquarters in Encinitas CA and 10+ offices throughout California.

June also led Dudek’s Environmental Division through an expansive growth period from its inception in 1990 with four employees and $500k in revenue to 200+ employees, $20+ million in revenue and multiple offices and practices serving public and private clients throughout California.

Other relevant experience includes Director of Environmental Studies, JBF & Associates; Director of Technical Studies, PRC Engineering; Staff Research Associate, UCSD Medical School Pathology Department; Board Chair, Community Housing Works, an affordable housing developer, owner and manager, San Diego, CA; Chair, Hand to Hand, a women’s giving circle and fund of Coastal Community Foundation. Encinitas CA.

June  was born and raised in Royal Oak, Michigan. She is a child of the 60’s and remembers well those times, particularly the tragedies and upheavals of 1968, with the Detroit riots and the assassinations of Martin Luther King and Robert Kennedy.  She was something of an activist in college, it being the era of Give Peace a Chance, the first Earth Day and various black action movements.

June is retired now and greatly enjoys a variety of activities including RV travel and exploration of the natural world with her husband, Rick, quality time with her two sons and their families, and new friendships and activities.  She participates in a variety of philanthropic activities and also has developed a great love and respect for a new but much appreciated yoga practice.
