What end-of-life options are available to you or a loved one in California — and how do you navigate them? End of Life Choices California (EOLCCA) volunteer Taya Levine will answer those questions in a presentation covering legal end-of-life options for terminally ill Californians. Topics include California’s End of Life Option Act (EOLOA), also known as medical aid in dying (MAiD), and voluntarily stopping eating and drinking (VSED). The session also addresses advance care planning and essential planning documents, including the Advance Health Care Directive, Dementia Directive, VSED Directive, and POLST (Physician Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment).

This is event is free and open to the community. The presentation will be held in the Marshall House at the Russian River Senior Center.
