Bereavement Program

Grieving the loss of a loved one is never easy. When that loss occurs through Medical Aid in Dying (MAiD), it can bring about a unique and complex range of emotions. You may experience a mix of grief, peace, uncertainty, and even isolation.

At End of Life Choices California, we understand that this kind of journey requires compassionate and informed support. That’s why we’re honored to offer a specialized online bereavement support group for those who have lost someone through MAiD, in partnership with Hospice of the North Coast (HNC) in Carlsbad, CA.

A Safe and Supportive Space

This private, online support group is co-facilitated by experienced bereavement counselors from Hospice of the North Coast, in coordination with EOLCCA. Together, they create a safe, secure, and understanding space where you can:

  • Share your story with others who truly understand
  • Explore the complex emotions that can follow a MAiD death
  • Receive compassionate, expert guidance through your grief
  • Find connection and comfort in community
