Napa Valley Unitarian Universalists – “Jack Has a Plan” Film Screening

Join us in person or on Zoom to watch the film, Jack Has a Plan, a deeply moving, unexpectedly joyous documentary about one man’s remarkable journey with a terminal diagnosis.
In 1994, musician Jack Tuller was given six months to live. Instead of fading away, he spent 25 years defying medical odds, turning his life into an amazing artistic exploration of mortality. When Jack finally decides to take control of his final chapter, he asks his best friend to document his three-year quest to die a happy man.
Jack wanted to remove the taboos associated with discussions about death and dying and to create the most honest and uplifting case study about how to approach our final days with sincerity, openness, and gratitude. Following the film, stay for a Q&A with Reina Galanes, Board Member with End of Life Choices California (EOLCCA). EOLCCA provides education and support to help Californians navigate their legal end-of-life options.
This event is open to the public and admission is free. Donations in any amount to offset licensing fees and support Death Positive Event Series programming are gratefully accepted. Any extra funds will be donated to the Napa Valley Unitarian Universalist Church.
