Rio Vista Library – Advance Care Planning and End-of-Life Options

Presenters: Fern Eberling and Judith Bishop, Volunteers with End of Life Choices California (EOLCCA), will discuss the importance of sharing values and end-of-life wishes with loved ones; present information on legal end of life options in California, including stopping unwanted medical treatments, obtaining palliative care, enrolling in hospice care, and voluntarily stopping eating and drinking (VSED), and California’s End of Life Option Act, also known as medical aid in dying; and describe the resources and support provided by End of Life Choices California.
