SF Senior Roundtable

Reina Galanes, volunteer and Board Member with End of Life Choices California (EOLCCA), will provide an overview of how EOLCCA helps Californians understand and successfully navigate their legal end-of-life options. The presentation covers options available to terminally ill Californians, with a focus on California’s End of Life Option Act (EOLOA) — also known as medical aid in dying (MAiD) — and voluntarily stopping eating and drinking (VSED). Discussion will include the importance of advance care planning and key planning documents: the Advance Health Care Directive, Dementia Directive, VSED Directive, and POLST (Physician Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment).
This is an invitation-only event hosted by AlmaVia of San Francisco.
