End of Life Planning at PEP Housing Pony Express Senior Apartments

Sylvia Martin-Stone & Michele Bornheim, volunteers with End of Life Choices California (EOLCCA), will provide an overview of how EOLCCA helps Californians understand and successfully navigate their legal end-of-life options. The presentation covers options available to terminally ill Californians, with a focus on California’s End of Life Option Act (EOLOA) — also known as medical aid in dying (MAiD) — and voluntarily stopping eating and drinking (VSED). Discussion will include the importance of advance care planning and key planning documents: the Advance Health Care Directive, Dementia Directive, VSED Directive, and POLST (Physician Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment).
This is an invitation-only event for residents of Pony Express Senior Apartments in Vacaville.
