Learn how you can make informed end of life decisions and about who qualifies for Medical Aid in Dying (MAID) under the California End of Life Option Act.

Sue Gess, Advisory Council member of End of Life Choices California will present information on the legal end of life options in California, including discontinuing or declining medical treatments, hospice and palliative care, and voluntarily stopping eating and drinking (VSED). She will also talk about California’s End of Life Option Act, which is a law also referred to as Medical Aid in Dying (MAiD).  This discussion addresses eligibility, recent changes to the law, and how to request a Maid prescription from your doctor.
