Planning Ahead at River City Senior Apartments

What end-of-life options are available to you or a loved one in California — and how do you navigate them? End of Life Choices California (EOLCCA) board member Sue Gess will answer those questions in a presentation covering advance care planning and essential planning documents, including the Advance Health Care Directive, Dementia Directive, VSED Directive, and POLST (Physician Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment).

This session also addresses legal end-of-life options for terminally ill Californians. Topics include California’s End of Life Option Act (EOLOA), also known as medical aid in dying (MAiD), and voluntarily stopping eating and drinking (VSED).
