Kelly Newcomb and Mara Latts, Volunteers with End of Life Choices California (EOLCCA), will discuss the importance of sharing your values and end-of-life wishes with loved ones; your legal end-of-life options (including medical aid in dying); and, the resources and support provided by EOLCCA. Legal end-of-life options in California include stopping unwanted medical treatments; palliative care; hospice care; voluntarily stopping eating and drinking (VSED); and California’s End of Life Option Act (also known as medical aid in dying).
This is a private event for students in the Psychology of Death and Dying class at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
